Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are making waves online. The hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp allegedly already has over four billion views on Twitter! The virtual masses have spoken, and they are rooting for Johnny. The trial for the defamation case that Johnny Depp filed against Amber Heard began on April 11, and since then, the court has only heard Depp’s testimonies. Within the four days of Depp taking the sand, revelation after revelation has come out. The most recent of which is the audio recording that his lawyer presented. The contents of which shook the world. “Tell the world, Johnny, tell them, Johnny Depp, I, Johnny Depp, a man, I'm a victim too of domestic violence,” Heard says, before going on to challenge him to "see how many people believe or side with you.”
Several recordings from opposing parties have been released and they have, in some way, aided people in giving their own verdict on Amber Heard. Some are calling for her immediate removal from the Aquaman franchise while others are sympathetic on her alleged mental illness and calling for her immediate treatment. However, the judge and jury is far from reaching an actual verdict as the trial is still set to take weeks more, and Heard’s testimony is yet to come.
Whatever the verdict may be, Depp has already expressed that the moment the accusations against him came out, he already lost.
